Certifications

The Sling s are woven in France from high quality and   raw materials of great resistance. Finding European fabrics and produced in an eco-responsible way are challenges that are particularly close to our hearts. 

 

Our Slings in 100% organic cotton are certified: 

- GOTS. This quality label is a global benchmark in the textile field. It assures consumers that it is organic textile. It guarantees sustainable, ecological and environmentally friendly production throughout the entire production chain. GOTS certification ensures: 

• A total absence of harmful chemicals
• A minimum of 70% organic fibers in textiles
• A reduction in water and energy consumption
• Ecological manufacturing from start to finish of the production chain
• Compliance with ILO (International Labor Organization) conventions with safe working conditions and decent wages for all employees

Strict and regular controls and audits are subject to companies producing GOTS certified textiles in order to guarantee high-level environmental and social criteria. 

- OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 is a control and certification system sanitary and ecological for products textiles. Controls of harmful substances include: substances prohibited and regulated by law and products known to be likely to harm health but not yet regulated. OEKO-TEX certification guarantees the absence of toxic products for the body and the environment. 

Support European artisans as much as possible for a local and sustainable consumption is very important for Joli Nous, this is why our fabrics are: 

- Woven and dyed in France.

- Sewn in a family workshop, in the heart of the Swiss Alps.
